Sarcasm

It has recently come to our attention that sarcasm passed away sometime
during the early 21st century. Since no one had noticed her existence for
many years, no one noticed when she died, so the exact date of death will
remain uncertain. In the early years of her life sarcasm enjoyed
entertaining and was known for the biting commentary delivered on social
issues in the presence of friends such as irony and cynicism. Towards the
end of her life sarcasm turned her biting tongue to issues of national
security and patriotism. Perhaps she had lost her touch, more likely people
had simply found other faster, easier ways of entertainment. Now that her
absence has been noted, it is doubtful that she will be missed by many.
